What started as a teenager’s passion project has grown into one of Cambridge Ontario’s most meaningful automotive gatherings. Incline Events, founded by Daniel Klein, proves that car culture can do far more than turn heads. It can bring people together and make a real difference.

The journey began in 2022 with the planning of the first Gaslight District car show. At just 15 years old, Daniel launched the inaugural event in September 2023, driven by a lifelong love for cars and a personal commitment to giving back to Cambridge Memorial Hospital. What started as a single charity event quickly evolved into Incline Events, a growing brand focused on hosting automotive and community driven gatherings that raise funds for the hospital.

Held in the heart of Cambridge, Incline Events has become an annual staple with successful shows on September 17 2023, September 15 2024, and September 14 2025. The 2026 date has yet to be announced, but anticipation is already building.

Putting the event together requires months of dedication. It begins with choosing the right date and coordinating with the Gaslight District, which generously donates the space each year. From there, Daniel and the team focus on networking with car owners at other shows, connecting through Instagram, and promoting heavily online. A strong community has formed around the event, supported by a group of photographers who volunteer their time to capture the experience.

Local vendors and sponsors are brought in, the layout is carefully planned, and every detail is considered to ensure the event runs smoothly. On the day of the show, the team manages music, food, partnerships, and logistics, all while making sure everyone is having a great time and that both people and vehicles remain safe. At its core, the event is about uniting the community around a cause that means something real.

Incline Events has also received continued support from key figures within the automotive and local community, including Kevin Zimic of Cambridge Ford, Katie McMullen of the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation, and Matt Collyer of Morning Meets. Their guidance and encouragement have played an important role in the event’s continued growth.

For Nicole, this charity car show holds special meaning. Through her photography, she helps support the event by sharing her work across Instagram and other social platforms, attracting new viewers and encouraging more people to attend future events. Her images do more than showcase cars. They tell the story of a community coming together to support an important local cause.

As Incline Events looks ahead to 2026 and beyond, it continues to stand as a powerful example of what can happen when automotive culture and community impact come together with intention. This is not just a car show. It is a movement built on passion, generosity, and the belief that giving back can be just as powerful as horsepower.
