This past Friday marked a major milestone for Hot Rods and Hops as they celebrated their 60th event since launching their signature Friday night cruise-ins back in 2017. What began in Mooresville, North Carolina has grown into a beloved local tradition, attracting car enthusiasts from across the region.
Over the years, this event has made pit stops at breweries, ZMAX Dragway, and even the family-friendly Rescue Ranch. But their home base at Late Apex Storage Condos has proven to be the ultimate venue, and this past Friday’s turnout made that clear. With a lot of cars lining the lot, the scene was packed with chrome, horsepower, and pure American muscle.

Photographer David Hart of DM Hart Images was on hand to capture the action, and thanks to him, we’re able to bring you a visual taste of the event’s high-octane atmosphere.
americanAs always, the event was open to the public with free parking conveniently located just across the street. Hoptown Brewing and an assortment of food trucks kept everyone refreshed and fueled up, while DJ Jay Wheels kept the vibes alive with music spinning throughout the night.
The 60th event also featured a strong lineup of sponsor support from some of the most respected names in the automotive and motorsports world, including Discount Tire, Interstate Cycle, Streetside Classics, Parking Money Podcast, Revfast, Hagerty Insurance, and Mitsubishi Motors North America.
Hot Rods and Hops continues to grow with each event, offering an inclusive, high-energy celebration of car culture for all ages. To stay up to date with upcoming events and announcements, be sure to follow them on Facebook at facebook.com/hotrodsandhops.
