OPTIMA Batteries has introduced the new QH6, a high-performance lithium battery engineered to deliver both reliable engine starting and deep-cycle capability. Weighing in at just 19.8 lbs, the QH6 features 880 amps of cold cranking power (CCA) and is designed with the latest in battery management and smart communication technology.
This dual-purpose battery is compatible with Group 48 (H6) fitments and thrives in extreme environments, maintaining dependable performance even in temperatures as low as -20°F. At the heart of the QH6 is OPTIMA’s signature CPR (Critical Power Reserve) jump-start feature, which intelligently monitors energy usage and automatically reserves enough power to start the vehicle, even when the battery is heavily drained. This system can be activated directly through the OPTIMA Batteries Bluetooth app, offering added convenience.
The integrated Bluetooth connectivity provides real-time insights into battery health, charge status, current flow, and temperature, while issuing alerts for battery management system (BMS) functions. The advanced BMS, controlled by an onboard microprocessor, ensures balanced cell charging, contributing to extended battery life and optimized performance.
