The Conover Cruz’N Car Show 2025, which was held at Conover City Park on May 3rd, is summarized as an event we hate you missed especially in the Hickory, Newton, Conover area. The event, which brought together auto enthusiasts, families, and community members for a day of cars, music, food, and fun all to raise funds to support the Children’s Advocacy and Protection Center was a huge success despite the occasional rain. Participants exhibited their vehicles for 12 trophy categories at this year’s event, which featured an impressive roster of vehicles. Seeing the attendees’ enthusiasm and commitment as they competed for top prizes in a celebration of automotive excellence warmed my heart. With DJ Bobby spinning your favorite tunes from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, the atmosphere was fantastic. Local legends Lost Wages also performed live for the audience, enhancing everyone’s spirits with their upbeat songs. With a wide variety of food trucks and craft vendors selling tasty snacks, foodies had no shortage of choices. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mark, the owner of Patriot Jerky, for his unwavering support and for making this event possible.
Major thanks to the Conover Community Partners, who mission is to help Conover thrive by organizing creative opportunities for community engagement. They are Conover businesses and community members invested in collaborating for a safe, productive, and successful community.
