ROUSH PERFORMANCE: LAUNCHES NEW 810 HORSEPOWER DUAL-THROTTLE BODY SUPERCHARGER FOR 2024 MUSTANGS

The Roush Performance supercharger kit is developed in collaboration with Magnuson Superchargers and adds up to 330 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque over the stock base GT

Roush Performance, an industry leader in top-of-the-line aftermarket superchargers, engines and pre-titled performance vehicles, has just announced its all-new supercharger for the 2024 Mustang GT equipped with the 5.0L Coyote engine. Roush has partnered with Magnuson Superchargers to develop the TVS-based supercharger, which provides the new 2024 Ford Mustangs with 810 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque. A limited run of Launch Edition superchargers are available now with Jack Roush’s signature prominently laser-etched on the head unit and proprietary Phase 2 tuning. The Standard Phase 1 and 2 kits will be available later this year, compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions.

Bringing together over 50 years of combined supercharger experience, Roush Performance and Magnuson have teamed up to develop this dual-throttle body supercharger kit. The supercharger is based on an inverted Eaton TVS R2650 with a front inlet, dual intercoolers and an 84mm pulley, which makes a peak boost of 13 psi at 7,500 rpm. The kit reuses the OEM dual 80mm throttle bodies and induction components, maintaining a symmetrical appearance. The result is a supercharger that maximizes horsepower and torque output with improved cooling and industry-leading dependability.

The inverted design of the supercharger allows for large, high-efficiency dual intercoolers paired with a Bosch PCE intercooler pump to ensure excellent heat transfer and lower air intake temperatures. A large heat exchanger also helps maintain the lowest possible intercooler temperatures while minimizing restrictions to the stock cooling module. Twin cone fuel injectors with optimized director plates provide ideal injector targeting, while new billet fuel rails maximize flow and ensure correct injector orientation. A custom FEAD design and hardware allow for the supercharger belt to run closer to the engine, reducing the load on the crankshaft for maximum reliability and durability. Pre-gapped Ford Performance spark plugs with a lower heat range are also provided.

Roush Performance prides itself on the quality and performance of its products. The Launch Edition and Phase 2 kits come with a limited parts warranty, while the Phase 1 kit includes a full powertrain warranty when installed by a Ford dealer or an Automotive Service Excellence-certified technician. The kit includes all necessary installation hardware, and the Roush Performance calibration can be downloaded using Roush RDT software. The Roush Performance 2024 Mustang supercharger kit is SEMA Emissions Compliant and not approved for sale or installation in California or states that require an E.O. number.
