

BREAKING: The PRI(Performance Racing Industry) got appointed a new President on 21 February 2024 and his name is Michael Good. He will assume his duties on 26 February 2024. He will be based at PRI headquarters in Indianapolis. Good will be reporting directly to SEMA President and CEO Mike Spagnola.
Good brings more than 25 years of experience as a leader of different teams and different organizations. He has experience in more than a few industries, both foreign and domestic. He has proven himself many times over in numerous executive leadership roles, including President, CEO, Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Chairman.
SEMA President said that “Michael has both the passion for racing combined with his business acumen that makes him perfectly suited to lead PRI. “Under Michael’s leadership, PRI is well-positioned for future success both nationally and internationally and to expand on its position as a market leader in the motorsports industry.”
In recent years the motorsports industry has experienced continued growth. With the industry growing as it is fuels increased sponsorship and investment as new technologies and formats, including e-racing, bring new fans to the sport. Part of Good’s job as President, overseeing all areas of PRI’s operations, this also includes the annual PRI trade show in Indianapolis. Good will have support from various services at SEMA.
Good served as President and CEO of Dynamat, Inc. before joining PRI. Dynamat is an industry leader in producing and delivering high-quality acoustic solutions to the world. This accomplished this with speed, quality and accuracy for better sound everywhere. Good’s Dynamat reimagined its culture, remade its brand, and moved into many different channels, while widening its global footprint.
Good said, “The motorsports industry is poised for tremendous growth. “I’m looking forward to working with the PRI team to build on our foundational pillars, leverage our tremendous brand equity, and aggressively advocate for our members while attracting the next generation of enthusiasts into the world of motorsports that we all love.”
Michael is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana and Anderson University. A self-described “car nut,” he spends his free time at racing events and car shows and serves on the boards of Indianapolis Cars & Coffee and Carmel Artomobilia. He also works with other nonprofits focused on at-risk youth, and currently serves on the Purdue Global Advisory Board. Good and his wife of 24 years, Heather, have three children.
